Buildforce Has a New Look

Those committed to a career in the construction trades have a lot of responsibilities to manage. In the past year, we’ve paid out over $9,000,000 in wages to electricians and helped electrical specialty contractors complete 197 projects. We are proud that our mission to empower the construction trades is making a real-world impact every day. This commitment drives how we make updates to the Buildforce platform. As we learn and grow, we want our brand to reflect the evolution of who we are today and how we intend to present ourselves in the future.

Where we started

In 2019, we started Buildforce and created our first brand logo and identity. Buildforce has evolved a lot over the last five years, but we felt our brand had not kept up. Internal discussions and surveys revealed that it was time to refresh the Buildforce brand identity to better reflect our commitment to our customers and champion the trades.

What’s changed? Since 2019, close to 300 electrical specialty contractors have embraced Buildforce, with over 10,000 electricians downloading our mobile app. Our platform now boasts four distinct offerings: our electrician staffing marketplace, time tracking & attendance, workforce management, and payroll—all representing the growth of our aspirations to increase the value we deliver to our customers.

Now we're excited to unveil our new branding, which is flexible enough to showcase the full range of what we offer and helps us stand out amongst our competitors as a partner that puts the worker at the center in the most authentic way possible.

The new look pays tribute to our roots and conveys movement, speed, trust, connection, and support. This level of approachability is essential; we want to be a welcoming and supportive partner for both electricians and contractors.

Our new colors represent the characteristics that we identified as central to the Buildforce brand. The end result is a palette that's both structured and technical, like a well-planned blueprint. It also has a warm and grounded human texture, reflecting the real people who drive the construction industry forward. You may also notice our new typeface which allows us to create a more consistent and readable experience for you, no matter how you interact with Buildforce.

What's next

We're very excited to reveal this new look, which marks a strong start to a new chapter in our story. You can now see our updated branding on our website, emails, and products.
