Do I need continuing education for my first Colorado electrical license renewal?

No, not if you earned the license by passing the state licensing exam. The Colorado State Electrical Board doesn't require continuing education for the first renewal of a license issued through the exam. After that first renewal, you need 24 hours of approved CE every three-year license period.
