How long does CPR certification last?

American Heart Association Heartsaver cards and Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certificates are valid for 2 years. NFPA 70E follows the certifying body's schedule for CPR, but it calls for contact release refresher training every year. OSHA's construction rule asks for a valid certificate, so renew before the card expires.
