How much does an electrician apprenticeship cost in Florida?

Most Florida electrical apprenticeships charge no tuition, and section 1009.25 of the Florida Statutes exempts students in approved apprenticeship programs from tuition and fees at public colleges and technical centers. Books are the main cost. IEC Florida West Coast lists $500 to $625 a year, and the Electrical Training Alliance of Central Florida says apprentices can expect to pay up to $1,100 a school year for course materials.
